Branding, there’s nothing to be afraid of.
When many small to medium-sized companies hear the word “branding” they freak out. I don’t need it, it’s too expensive, it’s too complicated they exclaim.
Let’s get this straight: every business regardless of the size can benefit from branding. Your brand is what it means to your customer, not what you think it means to them. If you see yourself one way, but your customer sees you another way, your brand is what the customer believes it is, irregardless of how your feel about it.
That’s why it’s so important to start off on the right foot when it comes to your brand. Establish a brand voice, a set of values you believe in, be consistent with your messaging, reinforce the brand voice on social media, stand for a social cause, speak with customers not at them. Consumers like to feel good about the companies they do business with. Don’t give them a reason not to feel good about you.
Lastly, do business with an expert branding agency like James Ross to steer you in the right direction. Remember, a brand is much more than a logo.
